Peacock has ordered a new series, “The End is Nye,” hosted by science educator Bill Nye. Brannon Braga will serve as showrunner and executive producer along with directing all episodes.

Each episode explores the myths and realities of both natural and unnatural threats, from viruses to volcanoes, asteroids to authoritarianism, and climate change to chemical warfare. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins will also executive produce. [Source: Variety]

Actor David Schwimmer has confirmed to SiriusXM’s Radio Andy this week that HBO Max’s long-awaited “Friends” reunion special will finally be able to film soon in Los Angeles – specifically in a little over a month. He adds “we’ve figured out a way to film it safely and there’s going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols.” [Source: Sirius XM]

The Devil’s Hour
Amazon has greenlit the thriller series “The Devil’s Hour” from Hartswood Films (“Dracula,” “Sherlock”) penned by British writer Tom Moran and executive produced by him, Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue.

The story follows a woman who wakes up every night at exactly 3:33am. Soon her name is inexplicably connected to a string of brutal murders in the area and the answers that have evaded her all these years will finally come into focus. [Source: Deadline]

Snowpiercer
Chelsea Harris has been promoted to series regular for the third season of TNT’s sci-fi thriller series “Snowpiercer”. The actress is recurring in the currently airing second season in the role of Sykes, a covert operative and the right-hand advisor to Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean). Prodigal Son
FOX has released a trailer for the return of the second season of “Prodigal Son” which comes back on April 13th with two prominent recurring guest stars – Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alan Cumming – who feature heavily in the clip.

In addition, HBO Max has announced that it has acquired the exclusive U.S. SVOD streaming rights from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution with the first season now available to stream.

Made for Love
HBO Max has released the trailer for next month’s dark comedy series “Made for Love” which uniquely features Ray Romano doing a spoken word version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love”.

Cristin Milioti plays a thirty-something woman on the run after ten years in a suffocating marriage to a controlling tech billionaire (Billy Magnussen). She discovers her husband has implanted a tracking device in her allowing him to know her “emotional data” as she takes refuge with her aging widower father (Romano) and his synthetic partner.
