Real Time with Bill Maher
HBO has renewed Bill Maher’s “Real Time” series through 2022, taking the show to its twentieth season. Maher says in a statement: “18 years – I can’t believe I’m turning 18 and HBO isn’t making me leave home. Thrilled to be living under their roof for another couple of years.”
Until recently, Maher has been forced to shoot episodes from his home as a result of the pandemic. The pickup comes just before his last multi-season renewal expires at year’s end. It also follows a recent three-year pickup for “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver”. [Source: THR]
