The second season of Mike White’s anthology series “The White Lotus,” about life among the wealthy and dissatisfied at a chain of upscale resorts, will premiere in October on HBO.

Jennifer Coolidge is the only series regular to be returning, reprising her role as spiritually seeking socialite Tanya McQuoid. F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, Will Sharpe, and Leo Woodall also star. [Source: Variety]

Stranger Things
Writing has officially begun on the fifth season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things”, as revealed by the show’s writing team, led by creators Matt and Ross Duffer, posting a photo confirming the early stages of pre-production are underway, and scripts will be churned out over the coming months. American Horror Story
FX chairman John Landgraf has confirmed the eleventh season of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series “American Horror Story” is still coming this Fall.

No title, cast or premiere date has yet been announced, but the show is set to continue until at least 2024 as at least two more seasons after this have been greenlit. One regular likely not returning is Sarah Paulson, who said this week she’d taken much of the last year off. [Source: Deadline]
