Karma’s World
Rapper and actor Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges has created and will executive produce the animated musical kids series “Karma’s World” which just received a series order at Netflix for 40 eleven-minute episodes.
Aimed at children aged six to nine, the coming-of-age story about 10-year-old Karma Grant, an aspiring musical artist and rapper with big talent and an even bigger heart. Devoted
Tomorrow Studios (“Snowpiercer”) has announced plans for a television adaptation of Dean Koontz’s latest thriller novel “Devoted”. Koontz and Becky Clements will executive produce.
The story follows Woody Bookman, an 11-year-old mute boy who believes a monstrous evil was behind his father’s death and now threatens him and his mother. He gets help from Kipp, a uniquely gifted dog and the only one who can truly hear the boy. [Source: Deadline]
Yellowstone
Cable’s most watched show of the year, Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone,” will have its third season available for streaming in full on Peacock starting November 22nd – three months after the new season finished airing on its original network. The show’s first two seasons have been on Peacock since its early launch in April on Comcast. [Source: TV Line]
Firefly Lane
Netflix has released the teaser trailer for its new TV drama “Firefly Lane” starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke and based on the novel by Kristin Hannah. The pair play lifelong friends navigating love, marriage, career highs and lows, and their bond. Ben Lawson, Beau Garrett, Yael Yurman, and Ali Skovbye co-star in the series arriving in 2021.
The Mandalorian
The Disney+ streaming service has released a new one-minute long TV spot for the upcoming second season of its “Star Wars” live-action series “The Mandalorian”. Featuring several bits of new footage, the preview comes ahead of the launch of eight new episodes starting October 30th.
