TV News: Invincible, Succession, Fargo, SHIELD

Invincible
A photo is out showing off the character designs for “Invincible,” the Amazon Prime animated series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic. The comic’s artist Cory Walker also serves as lead character designer on the series and so the designs stays very close to Walker’s original renditions of characters.

Succession
“Succession” showrunner Jesse Armstrong confirms that they’re hoping to start production of the upcoming third season of HBO’s award-winning comedy-drama series in New York before Christmas. Nothing has reportedly been finalized yet due to the uncertain future caused by the ongoing pandemic. Filming was originally scheduled to begin in April but production was delayed indefinitely. Fargo
FX has finally set a September 27th premiere date for the fourth season of their black comedy anthology series “Fargo” with back-to-back episodes. Production on the 1950’s set Chris Rock-led new season, which was halted shortly before finishing back in March, is set to resume in Chicago later this month. [Source: FX]

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD
Marvel Entertainment has released a new trailer for the two-hour series finale of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” – the clip looking at each character’s development throughout the series as they prepare for their final mission together in the double episode set to air on Wednesday, August 12th.
