Secret Invasion
“Dublin Murders” and “Damnation” star Killian Scott is in negotiations to join Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke and Kingsley Ben-Adir in Marvel Studios series “Secret Invasion”.
The crossover comic which the series is based on showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Scott’s role is under wraps. [Source: Deadline]
NCIS: Hawaii
Vanessa Lachey (“Call Me Kat,” “Hawaii Five-0”) will play the lead SAC while Yasmine Al-Bustami and Jason Antoon have also joined the cast of “NCIS: Hawaii” as a junior member and a cyber intelligence specialist respectively.
Lachey will star as Jane Tennant, the first woman SAC of NCIS: Hawaii – hard-charging yet diplomatic, she’s thrived in a system that pushed back every step of the way. She’s also a mother raising her kids mostly on her own. [Source: Variety]
Cobra Kai
The fourth season of Netflix’s martial arts drama smash “Cobra Kai” had finished production. Actor Martin Kove, who plays John Kreese, confirmed the wrap on social media. The new run will reportedly arrive on Netflix in the fourth quarter of 2021. [Source: Instagram]

The CW has set premiere dates for new seasons of series. “In the Dark” S2 begins June 23rd, “Wellington Paranormal” will debut July 11th, “Coroner” S3 begins July 15th, “Roswell, New Mexico” S3 begins July 26th, “Stargirl” S2 starts August 10th, “Burden of Truth” S4 begins August 19th,

NBC will return all three of its freshman comedies to the schedule with both “Young Rock” and “Kenan” scoring second-season renewals today. The pair join “Mr. Mayor” on NBC’s 2021-22 schedule, the first time in years all of NBC’s rookie comedies will return. Both “Superstore” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” wrap up their runs this year.
