Lionsgate has set an exclusive SVOD deal with Paramount+ to be the U.S. home for CBS comedy “Ghosts”. The new agreement starting in Fall this year will see the streamer become the exclusive year-round SVOD home to the show which has already been renewed for a second season. [Source: THR]
Shining Vale
Starz has renewed its Courtney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Mira Sorvino-led horror-comedy series “Shining Vale” for a second season of eight episodes.
The story follows a couple who, along with their two kids, attempts a re-start in the titular Connecticut town. Their new home happens to have been the sight of multiple murders and the wife soon begins to see the ghost of the murderer, a 1950s housewife named Rosemary. [Source: TV Line]

“John Wick” filmmaker Chad Stahelski has been set to direct and executive produce Sony TV and Original Film’s planned TV series adaptation of Jeremy Robinson’s kaiju thriller novel series “The Nemesis Saga”.
When the DNA of Greek goddess of vengeance Nemesis is merged with a murdered little girl Maigo, the resulting trauma-fueled kaiju rampages across Maine. A sarcastic DHS agent, who leads the agency’s Paranormal division, must come up with a response to this otherworldly threat. [Source: Deadline]
Trigger Point
Peacock will be the U.S. home of ITV’s high-pressure thriller “Trigger Point” from “Bodyguard” and “Line of Duty” creator Jed Mercurio. Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester star with plans to launch on July 8th.

The Floor is Lava
Netflix’s competitive TV series “Floor is Lava” is coming back for a second season as contestants once again are forced to make their way through an obstacle course, hopping between platforms and walls, to avoid falling into the orange goo. The new five-episode run also incorporates a lava-spitting, climbable volcano. It premieres on June 3rd.
