Euphoria
Three episodes in and the second season of HBO’s “Euphoria” has nearly doubled its first season per-episode viewership. The premiere drew 13.1 million viewers across multiple HBO and HBO Max airings, the two subsequent episodes are tracking similarly.
The eight-episode second season of “Euphoria” follows the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, focusing on teenager Rue (Zendaya) who must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss and addiction. [Source: Variety]
Gaslit
Starz has premiered the trailer for its political thriller mini-series “Gaslit” starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. That is scheduled for an April 24th premiere. Dan Stevens, Betty Gilpin, Shea Whigham and Darby Camp co-star.
The series focuses on several untold stories including Nixon’s subordinates, deranged zealots, and the whistleblowers who would eventually expose the whole enterprise.
The Boys: Diabolical
Amazon Prime has released a new trailer for its animated anthology series “The Boys: Diabolical” that will expand the universe of the hit superhero series. It premieres on March 4th.
The clip is a commercial for the fake restaurant Vought-a-Burger and offers a look at some new characters created for the anthology with each episode running 12-14 minutes.
The Temperature of Me and You
Foster Driver and Zoe Kent have set up an adaptation of Brian Zepka’s LGBT-themed sci-fi young adult novel “The Temperature of Me and You” at the Disney+ service.
Alden Derck is set to pen the project which plans to be a series and follows a 16-year-old boy named Dylan pining for a cute boy named Jordan while working shifts at a Dairy Queen in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Turns out one of them has an out-of-this-world secret. [Source: THR]
Killing It
Peacock has released the first trailer for the Craig Robinson-led comedy “Killing It” from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” creators Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici. In the series, Robinson plays a millionaire who kills snakes for the government.
