ABC has scrapped plans for romantic anthology series “Epic” from “Once Upon a Time” creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. The pilot was filmed in Ireland during the pandemic and followed various fairytale-inspired characters in a Disney-like Enchanted Forest.

Horowitz and Kitsis are also working on the Luke Evans and Josh Gad-led “Beauty and the Beast” prequel series on the Disney+ service. [Source: Collider]

Troppo
IMDb TV has picked up the first season of the Thomas Jane-led Australian drama series “Troppo” based on Candice Fox’s bestselling novel “Crimson Lake”. Yolanda Ramke adapted the book.

Jane plays an ex-cop falsely accused of committing a disturbing crime who has escaped to hide away in the tropics of Far North Queensland. As he tries to avoid discovery, he is drawn into investigating a wild murder and a missing person, alongside a complicated woman with dark secrets of her own. [Source: Deadline]

The Other Two
The trailer has hit for the second season of critically acclaimed comedy “The Other Two” on HBO Max which returns August 26th with two episodes weekly.

The story follows two humiliated siblings (Drew Tarver, Helene Yorke) trying to be as unsuccessful as they can be dealing with their 14-year-old pop star younger brother (Case Walker), and their 53-year-old hit daytime talk show host mother (Molly Shannon).

Impeachment: American Crime Story
A new teaser for “Impeachment: American Crime Story” is out, this one putting the focus on Sarah Paulson’s transformation into federal employee turned whistleblower Linda Tripp for this series dealing with President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen) and his affair with Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein). The series premieres on FX on September 7th.

Robot Chicken
Adult Swim has released the trailer for the eleventh season of its animated comedy series “Robot Chicken” with new episodes kicking off on September 6th and running Monday through Thursday until September 23rd. The trailer follows on the heels of “The Bleepin Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special” which lampooned all things Riverdale High.
