CSI: Vegas
Actress Jorja Fox has announced that she won’t return for the second season of “CSI: Vegas,” the actress exiting the show after a second season was confirmed without co-star and on-screen love interest William Petersen.
Petersen and Fox played Gil Grisson and Sara Sidle respectively throughout the original “CSI” with both returning for the first season of the revival which ran for ten episodes between October and December. [Source: Twitter]
The Righteous Gemstones
HBO has given a third-season renewal to Danny McBride’s televangelist family comedy series “The Righteous Gemstones”. The second season only began earlier this month and is scheduled to continue until the end of February. [Source: THR]
Immigrant
Annaleigh Ashford (“B Positive”) has joined Hulu’s darkly comedic limited series “Immigrant” about the rather insane origin of the male strip revue The Chippendales.
Kumail Nanjiani plays founder Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee with Ashford co-starring as his wife – an accountant who becomes a formidable behind-the-scenes powerhouse at the business. Murray Bartlett co-stars in the eight-part series. [Source: TV Line]
Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars
Netflix has released the trailer for “Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars,” an hour-long special based on Ubisoft’s “Raving Rabbids” video game franchise that premieres on the service on February 18th.
In the special, the Rabbids are assigned to a space mission that involves preparing Mars to be inhabitable by humans – and things soon go just like you’d expect.
