Crisis on Infinite Earths
More new photos keep popping up on social media as filming on The CW’s much-anticipated five-episode “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event continues with the cast sharing behind-the-scenes photos. One shot has two versions of Lois Lane, actresses Elizabeth Tulloch and Erica Durance, posting together. Another (see above) has two Supermans – Tyler Hoeclin and Brandon Routh – along with Grant Gustin’s The Flash standing on the Waverider. [Source: CBM]
Starz has announced that production has officially begun on the ten-episode third season of fantasy drama series “American Gods” with Dominique Jackson (“Pose”) and Eric Johnson (“Vikings”) taking on the recurring roles as Ms. World and Chad Mulligan respectively. They’re joined by guest stars this season like Marilyn Manson as Johan Wengren, Blythe Danner as Demeter, and Herizen Guardiola as Oshun.
Ashley Reyes is also onboard as a series regular. The story follows Shadow as he attempts to break away and assert himself as his own man, setting down roots in the idyllic snowy town of Lakeside, Wisconsin, where he’ll uncover a dark secret while exploring questions of his own divinity. ABC Signature has acquired the rights to develop Tea Obreht’s bestselling novel “Inland” for television with Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg to executive produce. The story follows two extraordinary lives that collide in the lawless, drought-ridden lands of the Arizona Territory in 1893. Nora is an unflinching frontierswoman awaiting the return of her husband and sons – only to set out with her husband’s seventeen-year-old cousin on a momentous expedition across the West. Avan Jogia (“Now Apocalypse”), Dane DeHaan (“Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”) and Maika Monroe (“It Follows”) will lead the short form series “The Stranger” for Quibi. The thriller hails from “The Killing” producer Veena Sud.
