Mr. Corman
Apple TV+ and A24 have released the first photo from the ten-episode comedy series “Mr. Corman” which Joseph Gordon-Levitt created, directs and stars in. Debra Winger, Bobby Hall, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung, and Shannon Woodward co-star in the series premiering August 6th.
Gordon-Levitt plays a fifth-grade public school teacher whose dreams of a career in music didn’t work out. He now struggles with problems of many thirtysomethings: anxiety, loneliness, the pervasive feelings of missed opportunities, and getting older. [Source: Apple Studios]
Conan
Conan O’Brien has set a June 24th date for the final episode of his long-running late-night TBS series “Conan”. This will mark the end of the show’s eleven-year run and O’Brien’s last talk show for now after nearly 30 years. He will shift to developing a new show for HBO Max. [Source: Variety]
Girls with Bright Futures
The Discovery+ service is developing a limited series adaptation of Tracy Dobmeier and Wendy Katzman’s novel “Girls with Bright Futures”. John Goldwyn and Karen Rosenfelt produce.
The story is a dark, suspenseful journey into the cutthroat world of college admissions in Seattle where three mothers discover the competition is more cutthroat than they could have imagined. [Source: Deadline]
Bridgerton
The second season of popular Netflix period drama series “Bridgerton” has officially started filming. Jonathan Bailey, who is reprising his role as Anthony Bridgerton, has been spotted with new co-star Simone Ashley as his love interest Kate Sharma in the new run.
Bridgerton’s next season will shift focus to Anthony’s romance with Kate and will be based on Julia Quinn’s novel “The Viscount Who Loved Me”. [Source: People]

Adult Swim has set a June 13th premiere date for the second season of the animated series “Tuca & Bertie” starring comedians Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong along with Oscar nominee Steven Yeun.
