The Chosen
The CW is set to become the first U.S. broadcaster to air the hit Biblical epic series “The Chosen” with the three existing seasons to begin airing on the network on July 16th.

It will continue airing in that timeslot throughout the rest of the year – timed so the third season finale is scheduled to air on Christmas Eve. A fourth season of the series is currently in production, with seven seasons overall planned.

The series tells the story of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) through the eyes of his followers. Lionsgate acquired the worldwide distribution rights worldwide for the series less than three weeks ago. [Source: Variety]

Secret Invasion
Marvel Studios has released a new clip from their “Secret Invasion” Disney+ series which sees Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill reuniting in a tense conversation whilst playing chess.

“Secret Invasion” will begin streaming from next Wednesday, June 21st. The conspiracy thriller series, also starring Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, sees Fury race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

Winning Time
HBO has premiered the teaser trailer for the second season of Adam McKay’s sports comedy-drama “Winning Time” which is scheduled to return on August 6th on HBO and will stream on Max.

The new season will see continued rise of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers and their increasing influence in the NBA, along with Magic Johnson’s soaring career and rivalry with Larry Bird.

The Venture Bros: Radiant Is The Blood Of The Baboon Heart
A new trailer has been released for “The Venture Bros: Radiant Is The Blood Of The Baboon Heart,” the film ending to the long-running Adult Swim animated series.

A nationwide manhunt for Hank Venture leads to untold dangers and unexpected revelations, while The Monarch is literally out for Dr. Venture’s blood. The film releases digitally on July 21st and on Blu-ray on July 25th.
