IFC has announced that the fourth season of the Hank Azaria-led comedy series “Brockmire” will serve as the show’s last. Amanda Peet, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Katie Finneran are all returning for the final eight-episode send off of the story of a major league baseball announcer who suffered a breakdown. ABC has cancelled its Poppy Montgomery-led summer drama “Reef Break” with the thirteen episode first season’s finale having aired on September 13th now serving as a series finale. The story follows a thief-turned-fixer for the governor of a stunning and seductive Pacific Island paradise. The Expatriates
“The Farewell” writer and director Lulu Wang is set to pen and executive produce Amazon’s upcoming drama series “The Expatriates” based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s novel. Wang will also direct multiple episodes. The story explores the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community in Hong Kong. Screenwriter Alice Bell serves as a writer and executive producer while Nicole Kidman also executive produces. [Source: Deadline]

Line Friends
Netflix is set to turn a popular Japanese messaging app into an original animated series titled “Line Friends”. The non-verbal, computer-animated series is a character brand that started as Brown & Friends stickers on the Line messaging service.
