“Sex Education” and “Broadchurch” actress Simone Ashley has scored a leading role as Kate Sharma, the love interest for Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) in the second season of Netflix’s sexy Regency Era drama “Bridgerton”.
Kate is described as a smart, independent woman who will be hard for Anthony to win over. The new season shifts the focus to Anthony, the oldest of the Bridgerton clan, and his begrudging pursuit of marriage. [Source: Variety]

CBS is reportedly nearing a series order for an event-series revival of their iconic Las Vegas-set crime lab procedural “CSI”. In addition, Paula Newsome (“Barry”), Matt Lauria (“Kingdom”) and Mel Rodriguez (“The Last Man on Earth”) will join the cast of the show which has set Jason Tracey to write the script, though. Dexter
The ten-episode revival of “Dexter” at Showtime has set Jamie Chung and Oscar Wahlberg as recurring. Chung will play a famous true-crime podcaster from Los Angeles. Wahlberg will play the bullying captain of a high school wrestling team.
The revival is set a decade after Dexter Morgan (Hall) went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the character is now living under an assumed name in Upstate New York. The series is aiming to air this Fall. [Source: The Live Feed]
The One
“Hitman: Agent 47,” “The First” and “Boss” actress Hannah Ware will lead Netflix’s soulmate sci-fi series “The One” which will premiere on March 12th. Howard Overman serves as showrunner.
Ware plays Rebecca, the ambitious and impulsive founding CEO of MatchDNA, a tech company that has designed a DNA test that allows people to identify their perfect partner. Dimitri Leonidas, Amir El-Masry, and Stephen Campbell Moore co-star. [Source: Deadline]
