Bridge and Tunnel
Ed Burns’ half-hour dramedy series “Bridge and Tunnel” has been cancelled at Epix after two seasons. The news follows hot on the heels of Epix’s plan to rebrand as MGM+ in the new year.

Set in the early 1980s, the story revolves around a group of recent college grads setting out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while still clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island hometown. [Source: TV Line]

Dave
Former “Agents of SHIELD” alum Chloe Bennet has signed on for a recurring role in the third season of “Dave” at FXX. Bennet will appear in a multi-episode arc as Robyn, a photographer from Wisconsin whom Dave meets while on tour. “Dave” is based on the real-life experiences of rapper Dave ‘Lil Dicky’ Burd. It scored a third season renewal back in February. [Source: Variety]

Untitled Vanessa Williams Scandal Series
Sony Pictures Television has optioned rights to develop a limited series based around the scandal that forced actress Vanessa Williams to resign her Miss America crown in 1984 after nude photos of her (taken prior to her win) were published without her consent in Penthouse magazine. Williams was able to overcome the scandal and became an award-winning actor and singer. [Source: Deadline]

Predators
Tom Hardy is set to narrate the natural history series “Predators” for Sky Nature and Netflix. Launching in December on Sky in the UK, the series will follow apex predators as they fight to survive in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Tho’s predators? Polar bears in Canada, wild dogs in Zimbabwe, puma in Chile, lions in Botswana, brown bears in Russia and cheetahs in Tanzania. A Netflix release date hasn’t been confirmed.
