Netflix has released a first-look photo of Randall Park and Melissa Fumero on the set of Universal Television-produced single-camera comedy series “Blockbuster”.

The ensemble comedy takes place in the last Blockbuster Video store in America and explores what (and who) it takes for a small business to succeed against all odds. Tyler Alvarez, Madeleine Arthur, Olga Merediz, JB Smoove and Kamaia Fairburn also star. [Source: Twitter]

Maggie
The Rebecca Rittenhouse-led comedy series “Maggie” has set a July 6th premiere date on Hulu with the entire season to be available at once. The series is written and executive produced by Justin Adler and Maggie Mull.

The story follows a psychic navigating the dating world and begins to see glimpses of her own destiny after meeting an unexpected stranger. David Del Rio, Nichole Sakura, Leonardo Nam, Angelique Cabral, Ray Ford, Chloe Bridges, Kerri Kenney and Chris Elliott also star. [Source: TV Line]

Cookies and Milk
Disney Branded Television will adapt Shawn Amos’ semi-autobiographical debut novel “Cookies & Milk” into an animated series produced by Amos, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, Jesse Murphy and James Sears Bryant.

The story deals with the summer adventures of harmonica-playing middle-schooler Ellis Johnson as he begrudgingly helps his wildly optimistic and possibly magical father open the world’s first cookie shop in 1970s Hollywood. [Source: Deadline]

No Good Deed
Netflix has set a third and final season of its Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini-led acclaimed dark comedy “Dead to Me” for this Fall. In addition, creator Liz Feldman has landed a new series order at Netflix for the comedy series “No Good Deed” about three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems. “John Wick” creator Derek Kolstad will write and executive produce an eight-episode hourlong animated series based on the fantasy property “Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult” based on an NFT IP.
