Barney’s World
Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up the CG-animated series “Barney’s World” which will offer a revamp of the enduring purple dinosaur and his pals. It will debut on Cartoon Network and Max in 2024.

The new series, which will ditch the long-running human-in-costume approach in favor of a CG creation, aims to “properly reflect the world that kids today live in so that the series can deliver meaningful lessons about navigating it”. [Source: The Wrap]

Next Level Chef
FOX has ordered two more seasons of Gordon Ramsay’s cooking competition series “Next Level Chef”. Ramsay is joined by fellow mentor chefs Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais as they search nationwide for the best line cooks and home chefs. The series is averaging 6.1 million multi-platform viewers in Live+7 on FOX. The second season finale airs tonight. [Source: Variety]

Deli Boys
Onyx Collective has picked up a pilot of the half-hour, ten-episode comedy series “Deli Boys” which will stream exclusively on Hulu and on Disney+ via Star internationally. Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Alfie Fuller, Poorna Jagannathan and Brian George lead the cast.

In Deli Boys, when their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers (Ali and Shaikh) lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld. [Source: Deadline]

McGregor Forever
Netflix has premiered the trailer for “McGregor Forever,” its new four-episode docuseries about mixed martial arts UFC star Conor McGregor gearing up for a comeback. The 34-year-old Dublin-born athlete suffered a broken leg during his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. “McGregor Forever” launches May 17th on Netflix.
