Archer
FXX has delayed the eleventh season of its hit animated series “Archer” which was due to kick off May 6th. A new premiere date hasn’t been set. The network has cited “production challenges and scheduling issues” as the reason for the postponement. Its delay follows on from FX’s “Fargo” also being delayed. [Source: The Live Feed]
Black Mafia Family
Starz has given the go ahead to new series “Black Mafia Family” from “Power” executive producers Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and Randy Huggins. Terri Kopp and Anthony Wilson also serve as executive producers on the series.
The story is inspired by the true story of the two Flenory brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country . Their unwavering belief in family loyalty would be the cornerstone of their partnership and the crux of their eventual estrangement. [Source: Starz]
Fear the Walking Dead
AMC has unveiled the first teaser for the sixth season of spin-off series “Fear the Walking Dead”. Dwight and Sherry’s potential reunion, and Morgan’s radio call to the remaining survivors can be seen in the promo for the new episodes which kick off in the Summer.
Homecoming
Amazon Studios has released the first photos from the second season of its acclaimed original series “Homecoming”. Janelle Monae takes over from Julia Roberts as the lead in the new episodes which also sees Chris Cooper and Joan Cusack joining the cast. Stephan James and Hong Chau meanwhile will reprise their roles.
The new season begins as Jackie (Monae) wakes up in a boat with no memory of who she is. She finds herself teaming with James’ Walter to track down the truth behind their ties to the Geist Group. Cooper will play Geist CEO Leonard Geist. [Source: EW]
