Regal Theaters have announced plans to show several iconic horror films across various decades for the upcoming Halloween season.

Joel Schumacher’s “The Lost Boys,” Wes Craven’s “Scream 2” and John Carpenter’s “Halloween” will be coming back to the big screen. In addition, Mike Dougherty’s 2007 cult anthology classic “Trick ‘R Treat” will finally be getting a long overdue first theatrical release with that arriving nationwide on October 6th.

The news was first picked up by a horror fan on Twitter named Dansferatu with Warner Bros. Classic Films official Twitter account subsequently confirming the news.

That’s not all though, as several Universal horror classics like “The Mummy,” “The Bride of Frankenstein” and “Creature from the Black Lagoon” are reportedly also scoring re-releases, along with a 3D release of George A. Romero’s classic “Dawn of the Dead”.
