Cooper Raiff’s “Cha Cha Real Smooth,” the Audience Award winner at Sundance this year, has received a trailer ahead of its release in cinemas and then on June 17th on the Apple TV+ service.
The story follows a 22-year-old man who befriends a local mom and her daughter and finally discovers a future he wants – even if it might not be his own. Raiff, Dakota Johnson, Leslie Mann, Brad Garrett, Raúl Castillo, Odeya Rush, and Kelly O’Sullivan star.
IFC Films has released the first trailer for Andrew Semans’ “Resurrection,” its mystery thriller opening in cinemas and on VOD on August 5th. Rebecca Hall plays a woman whose carefully constructed life is upended when an unwelcome shadow from her past returns, forcing her to confront the monster she’s evaded for two decades. Tim Roth, Grace Kaufman and Michael Esper co-star.
Universal Pictures has premiered the trailer for the Cheryl Nichols-directed upcoming comedy “Doula” which follows two thirty-somethings expecting their first child. When their elderly midwife passes away suddenly, Silvio makes the hasty decision to hire her son (Will Greenberg) as their live-in doula. The film has set a U.S. release date of June 28th.
Disney+ has released the first trailer for the Ron Howard-directed “We Feed People” which chronicles Jose Andres’ journey from award-winning chef and acclaimed restaurateur to humanitarian aid activist and recipient of the National Humanities Medal. The film has its world premiere on Disney+ on May 27th.
The trailer has been released for “First Love,” the new feature from filmmaker A.J. Edwards who has regularly worked alongside Terrence Malick in recent years. The film will be released June 17th in cinemas and On Demand.
The story follows Jim (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), a senior in high school, experiencing the highs and lows of his first love with Ann (Sydney Parker) as they navigate their pending departure to college. At the same time, Jim’s parents (Jeffrey Donovan and Diane Kruger) are dealing with the familial fallout of a financial crisis.
The first trailer is out for Sundance award-winning satirical thriller “Emergency”. The film releases in theaters on May 20th ahead of an Amazon Prime release the following week.
