Nearly three years after the release of the Netflix TV series “Wu Assassins,” a trailer has arrived for a standalone movie follow-up titled “Fistful of Vengeance”.
The film begins after the events of the first season as restaurant owner Jenny Wah (Li Jun Li) gets mysteriously killed.
That prompts Kai Jin (Iko Uwais) and his team to band together one more time to find the killer. Their mission sees them having to meet the Queen of the Bangkok underworld in broad daylight.
Roel Reine helms the film which was written by Cameron Litvack and Yalun Tu. Lewis Tan, Lawrence Kao and JuJu Chan reprise their roles from the series and are joined by Jason Tobin, Pearl Thusi, Francesca Corney, Tony Kranz, and Rhatha Phongaam.
“Fistful of Vengeance” premieres on Netflix on February 17th.
