A24 has premiered the trailer for Jesse Eisenberg’s upcoming directorial debut, the coming-of-age dramedy “When You Finish Saving the World” starring Julianne Moore and Finn Wolfhard. The film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on January 20th.
The story highlights the estranged relationship between an uptight mother Evelyn, and her teenage son Ziggy who have lost the connection they once shared.
Due to this, they seek out replacements for each other as Evelyn desperately tries to parent an unassuming teenager at her shelter while Ziggy fumbles through his pursuit of a brilliant young woman at school.
Jay O. Sanders, Alisha Boe, Billy Bryk and Eleonore Hendricks co-star in the film, which is produced by Ali Herting, Dave McCary and Emma Stone.
