The first trailer has been released for “The Ring” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” original trilogy director Gore Verbinski’s new sci-fi feature “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die”.
Sam Rockwell stars as a man claiming to be from the future who takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.
He explains to the customers he “comes from a future which is totally, completely f— and I’m here to set it right.” In order to save the future, they’ll have to trust a seemingly crazy man.
Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, Tom Taylor, and Juno Temple co-star. The project marks Verbinski’s first directorial effort since 2016’s “A Cure for Wellness”.
Matthew Robinson penned the script while Verbinski will produce alongside Robert Kulzer, Denise Chamian, Erwin Stoff, and Oly Obst.
Briarcliff Entertainment will release “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die” in theaters on February 13th 2026.
