Bleecker Street has released the official trailer for the Toni Collette-led crime comedy feature “Mafia Mamma” opening in cinemas on April 14th 2023.
The story follows a woman who goes to Rome for the funeral of her estranged grandfather, who turns out to be an Italian gangster.
There, she discovers that her grandfather’s dying wish was for her to be the one to lead his mob empire. Because of this, her life changes in an instant, with hitmen constantly trying to assassinate her.
Monica Bellucci, Giulio Corso, Francesco Mastroianni, Alfonso Perugini, Sophia Nomvete, Eduardo Scarpetta, Tim Daish, and Tommy Rodger co-star.
