Following its screening at Cannes and other festivals, the new trailer has arrived for “The Lobster” and “Dogtooth” director Yorgos Lanthimos’ new and decidedly darker effort “The Killing of a Sacred Deer”.
Colin Farrell plays a charismatic surgeon whose life is starting to fall apart, and is forced to make a sacrifice when the behavior of a teen protege becomes sinister. Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy, Sunny Suljic, Bill Camp, and Alicia Silverstone co-star.
Lanthimos and Efthymis Filippou, co-wrote the screenplay. Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe are producing. A24 releases the film States-side on November 3rd.
