Paramount+ has premiered the official trailer for the ten-episode sixth and final season of “The Good Fight”, which will premiere exclusively on the service on September 8th.
The new run sees Diane (Christine Baranski) struggling with an uneasy sense of déjà vu with everything from Roe v. Wade to voting rights to Cold War aggressions returning. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Reddick & Associates wonder if the violence that they see all around them points to an impending civil war.
Three key players are joining the new season. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” alum Andre Braugher hops onboard as Ri’Chard Lane, a showman lawyer and rainmaker forced on Liz (Audra McDonald) as a new name partner.
“Mad Men” alum John Slattery joins as Lyle Bettencourt, a sophisticated and sensitive physician who helps Diane through a tough time. Finally, “The Good Wife” alums Alan Cumming and Carrie Preston return, reprising their beloved characters of Eli Gold and Elsbeth Tascioni, respectively.
Sarah Steele, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi and Charmaine Gingwa co-star. Robert and Michelle King serve as showrunners and executive producers on the series.
