Netflix has released the official trailer for Antonio Campos’ forthcoming “The Devil All the Time”. This film adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s 2011 novel which is premiering on Netflix on September 16th.
The multi-strand follows a disparate bunch of twisted characters from serial killers to violent sons and spider-handling preachers in Southern Ohio and West Virginia in the wake of World War II.
The project boasts a massive cast led by Tom Holland and including Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Sebastian Stan, Mia Wasikowska, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Haley Bennett, Harry Melling and Eliza Scanlen.
Jake Gyllenhaal produces the film, which was shot in Alabama and is expected to be very dark and graphic along with a potential awards contender should it be well received.
