Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the action-comedy feature “The Takedown” starring Omar Sy (“Lupin”) and Laurent Lafitte (“Elle”).
A sequel to 2012’s “On the Other Side of the Tracks,” the film follows Ousmane Diakite (Sy) and Francois Monge (Lafitte), two cops with very distinct styles, worldviews, and backgrounds.
The unlikely pair are reunited once again for a new investigation that takes them across France. What seemed to be a simple drug deal turns out to be a high scale criminal case wrapped in danger and unexpected comedy.
Louis Leterrier (“Now You See Me,” “Clash of the Titans,” “Grimsby”) directs from a script by Stephane Kazadjian. The film premieres worldwide on May 6th.
