Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for the eight-episode atmospheric horror drama “Something Very Bad is Going to Happen” that’s executive produced by “Stranger Things” creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
Rachel and Nicky are engaged to be married in a week. Before they can tie the knot, though, something very bad things happen to get in the way.
Filled with various twists, the film is tonally said to be something between “Carrie” and “Rosemary’s Baby” according to the showrunner. Further specifics are under wraps to maintain the mystery.
Camila Morrone, Adam DiMarco, Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine and Zlatko Bunc star.
The show is created and executive-produced by showrunner Haley Z. Boston and was shot early last year in Toronto. Hilary Leavitt, Andrea Sperling and Weronika Tofilska also executive produce.
Tofilska, who directed episodes of “Baby Reindeer,” directs four episodes of the series. Other directors include Axelle Carolyn and Lisa Brühlmann.
