Aardman Animations, StudioCanal and GKIDS have premiered the trailer for the third “Shaun the Sheep” film titled “Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom” which arrives in cinemas on September 18th.
The new film sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween – until the clumsy Farmer trashes the flock’s beloved pumpkin patch.
When Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the problem, things rapidly spiral out of control… With The Farmer missing and a wild beast roaming the woods of Mossingham.
“Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas” director Steve Cox and writer Giles Pilbrow return in the same capacities here, joined by Aardman veteran Mark Burton (“Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl”) as co-writer and Matthew Walker (“Lloyd of the Flies”) as co-director.
Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes, and Kate Harbour will return for their various voice roles. Sky and StudioCanal are releasing the film following their success with “Shaun the Sheep Movie” and “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmaggedo”.
Richard Beek produces while Nick Park, Peter Lord, Carla Shelley, and Sarah Cox executive produce. The first two films scored Oscar nominations for Best Animated Film along with rave reviews.
