20th Century Studios has released a dialogue-free and suspenseful trailer for the alien invasion meets home invasion period thriller “No One Will Save You”.
The story follows a creative and talented young woman named Brynn (Kaitlyn Dever) who’s been alienated from her community.
Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up – until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders.
As the trailer continues the larger scale of the invasion is shown, as is the world around the woman, which seems to be set sometime in the past judging by her clothes and the appearance of a rotary phone (along with no signs of mobiles, tablets or any computer tech).
Brynn must ultimately face off against a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while and force her to deal with her past.
The $22 million-budget film was shot in New Orleans from April to June last year. Brian Duffield, who helmed the dark teen comedy “Spontaneous,” penned and directs.
“No One Will Save You” is set to be released in the United States by Hulu on September 22nd and will air on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in other territories the same day.
