Bleecker Street has released the trailer for the thriller “The Secrets We Keep” starring the impressive trio of Noomi Rapace (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “Prometheus”), Joel Kinnaman (“Altered Carbon,” “The Killing”) and Chris Messina (“Birds of Prey,” “Sharp Objects”).
Set in post-WWII America, a woman (Rapace), rebuilding her life in the suburbs with her husband (Chris Messina), kidnaps her neighbor (Kinnaman) and seeks vengeance for the heinous war crimes she believes he committed against her.
Yuval Adler helms from a script co-written with Ryan Covington. The film will open in theaters on September 16th followed by a VOD release on October 16th.
