Following its premiere at Sundance Film Festival, A24 has premiered the poster and first trailer for celebrated “Columbus” filmmaker Kogonada’s new film “After Yang”.
Based on the short story “Saying Goodbye to Yang” by Alexander Weinstein, the film unfolds in a world where families can buy robotic children to be live-in babysitters.
The story follows a father and daughter as they try to save their vital robotic family member, Yang, after he begins to malfunction. Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Justin H. Min, and Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja star.
“After Yang” opens in cinemas on March 4th.
