The teaser trailer has been released for “Rolling Loud: The Movie,” a film take on the hip-hop music festival starring Owen Wilson and rapper Travis Scott.

57-year-old Wilson plays a by-the-book dad trying way too hard to be a cool dad. He decides to sneak his 13-year-old son (Christian Convery) into Rolling Loud, the large-scale hip-hop music festival.

This year, the headliner is Travis Scott, who plays a version of himself in the film. What starts as a bonding weekend instantly spirals out of control when he loses his son in a sea of thousands.

Swept through mosh pits, backstage chaos and a city of sound, he links up with unhinged wildcards. … Every choice gets worse, every moment gets louder and there’s no easy way out.

Written and directed by Jeremy Garelick and inspired by his own real-life experience, the film also stars comedian Matt Rife and Christine Ko along with cameos from Sexyy Red, Ski Mask The Slump God and Ty Dolla $ign.

Live Nation Studios, American High and Ketchup Entertainment are backing the film which will be produced by Stella Bulochnikov, Robin Rapino, Will Phelps, Garelick, Doug Banker and Jolene.

“Rolling Loud: The Movie” opens in cinemas on October 2nd.
