Netflix has released the trailer for its internationally-produced new sci-fi meets brutal action series “Tribes of Europa” which hails from the producers of German cult series sensation “Dark”.
It’s 2074 and in the wake of a mysterious global disaster, war rages between the tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe.
Three siblings from the peaceful Origines tribe – Kiano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confurius) and Elja (David Ali Rashed) – are separated and forced to forge their own paths in a fight for the future.
While the topic matter may sound grim and brutal, creator Philip Koch says there’s a universal sense of hope throughout the series. This isn’t “Fallout”-esque with doom everywhere, it’s “an exciting world where everybody gets back on their feet… a new beginning for the continent, full of hope.”
The show premieres worldwide on February 19th on Netflix.
