The trailer is out for “Pele,” a new documentary feature about the soccer superstar and icon for many in the world.
The documentary follows the life and career of Pele, born Edson Arantes do Nascimento, from his youth in Brazil during the late-1950s to becoming the only athlete to win three World Cups.
During his playing days, Pele was for a period the best-paid athlete in the world. The work uses rare and exclusive footage to help bring his story to life.
Ben Nicholas and David Tryhorn (“Crossing the Line”) helm the feature which hits the streamer on February 23rd.
