Netflix has premiered the trailer for the WW2 espionage thriller “Munich: The Edge of War” based on the novel by Robert Harris.
Autumn 1938 and Europe stands on the brink of war. Adolf Hitler is preparing to invade Czechoslovakia and the government of British PM Neville Chamberlain (Jeremy Irons) desperately seeks a peaceful solution.
With the pressure building, Hugh Legat (George MacKay), British civil servant, and Paul von Hartmann (Jannis Niewoner), German diplomat, travel to Munich for the emergency conference.
As negotiations begin, the two old friends find themselves at the centre of a web of political subterfuge and very real danger with the whole world watching. Ulrich Matthes co-stars as Adolf Hitler.

“Munich: The Edge of War” opens in select theaters on January 7th followed by a streaming release on January 21st.
