Hulu has premiered the official trailer for 20th Century Studios’ forthcoming true crime period drama “Boston Strangler” starring Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon.
Matt Ruskin penned and direct the film based on the infamous murders and follows Loretta McLaughlin, the first reporter to connect the murders and break the story of the Strangler who struck terror into the streets of Boston.
She and fellow reporter Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city’s most notorious serial killer and worked tirelessly to keep women informed.
Loretta pursued the story at great personal risk and uncovered corruption that cast doubt on the true identity of the killer. Alessandro Nivola, David Dastmalchian, Morgan Spector, Bill Camp, and Chris Cooper co-star.
Ridley Scott, Kevin Walsh, Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara produce. The film will be available for streaming from March 17th on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.
