Shout! Studios have released the trailer for the dark comedy crime thriller “The Kill Room”, which reunites “Pulp Fiction” alum Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson.
The pair are joined by Joe Manganiello, Debi Mazar and Maya Hawke, Dree Hemingway, Amy Keum, Candy Buckley, Larry Pine, Jennifer Kim, Matthew Maher, Tom Pecinka and Alexander Sokovikov in the feature.
The story follows a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and their money laundering scheme which involves the hitman creating fairly rubbish modern art creations with the dealer using her gallery to stir up interest in the art and sell it.
The scheme accidentally proves too much of a success as it turns the hitman into an overnight, avant-garde sensation with everyone wanting one of the artworks. This forces the dealer to play the art world against the underworld.
Nicol Paone directs from a script by Jonathan Jacobson. Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Anne Clements, William Rosenfeld, Bill Kenwright, Nicol Paone, Dannielle Thomas, Jason Weinberg, and Uma Thurman produce.
“The Kill Room” is set to release in theaters nationwide on September 29th.
