Amazon Prime has premiered the trailer for “War of the Worlds,” a modern-day set adaptation of the legendary H.G. Wells alien invasion novel – this time with a twist.
This adaptation is the latest in the sub-genre of films called ‘screenlife’ in which the entirety of the movie takes place across screens – computers, tablets, phone screens, camera recordings, etc. – as seen in films like “Searching,” “Unfriended,” “Spree” and “Dashcam”.
