Focus Features has premiered the official trailer for the mockumentary satire “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul” starring Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown.
The story follows Pastor Lee-Curtis (Brown) and Trinitie Childs (Hall) as they try everything they can, including filming a documentary, to rebuild their Southern Baptist megachurch’s reputation after a recent scandal involving Lee-Curtis.
Nicole Beharie, Conphidance, Austin Crute, and Devere Rogers co-star in the film which serves as the directorial debut of Adamma Ebo. It is scheduled to make its debut in theaters and on Peacock on September 2nd.
