Netflix has released the official trailer for the film adaptation of Alex North’s New York Times best-selling novel “The Whisper Man”.
When his eight-year-old son is abducted, a widowed crime writer (Adam Scott) looks to his estranged father (Robert De Niro), a retired former police detective, for help.
They soon discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as ‘The Whisper Man’.

New Zealand filmmaker James Ashcroft (“The Rule of Jenny Pen,” “Coming Home in the Dark”) helms the $50 million-budget film penned by Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer.
Anthony and Joe Russo’s AGBO label produced the feature, which will hit the streamer on August 28th.
