The trailer has been released for Sony Pictures ‘non-romantic’ comedy “Here Today” releasing in cinemas on May 7th.
73-year-old comedy veteran Billy Crystal plays a comedy writer who meets a New York singer (Tiffany Haddish) and the duo form an unlikely friendship.
Crystal directed and co-wrote the film which he says aims to explore “the relationship between an older man and a younger woman that was about friendship and love, but not in a romantic way.”
Former SNL writer Alan Zweibel also co-wrote the film which stars Louisa Krause, Penn Badgley, Laura Benanti, Alex Brightman, Anna Deavere Smith and Nyambi Nyambi in supporting roles.
