Bleecker Street has released the official trailer for the family drama feature “Ezra” starring Bobby Cannavale and Robert De Niro.
The story follows Max Bernal (Cannavale), a stand-up comedian living with his father while struggling to co-parent his autistic son Ezra with his ex-wife.
When forced to confront difficult decisions about their son’s future, Max and Ezra embark on a cross-country road trip that has a transcendent impact on both their lives.
Vera Farmiga, Whoopi Goldberg, Rainn Wilson, Goldwyn, and William A. Fitzgerald co-star in the film which is described as an “endearing and often funny exploration of a family determined to find their way through life’s complexities with humor, compassion, and heart”.
Former “Scandal” star Tony Goldwyn directs the film from a screenplay written by Tony Spiridakis. Goldwyn, Spiridakis, William Horberg, and Jon Kilik produce.
“Ezra” is slated to arrive in cinemas on May 31st.
