Apple TV+ has premiered the first trailer for the sci-fi romance film “Fingernails” starring Jessie Buckley (“Fargo”), Jeremy Allen White (“The Bear”), Riz Ahmed (“Sound of Metal”) and Luke Wilson (“The Royal Tenenbaums”).
Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Jeremy Allen White) have found true love. It has been proven by a controversial new technology that can tell people if they are truly in love with one another.
There’s just one problem: Anna still isn’t sure. Then she takes a position working at a love testing institute, and meets Amir (Rez Ahmed) with whom she becomes close.
The project hails from writer, producer, and director Christos Nikou (“Apples”) who previously worked as an assistant director on films like “Before Midnight” and “Dogtooth”.
Nikou, Stavros Raptis and Sam Steiner co-wrote the screenplay whilst Cate Blanchett, Andrew Upton, Coco Francini, and Lucas Wiesendanger produce.
The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival last month and is scheduled to hit select theaters and Apple TV+ on November 3rd.
