The trailer has been released by Lionsgate for “Dust Bunny,” a new genre-bending feature that hails from “Hannibal” series creator Bryan Fuller.
In the film ten-year-old Aurora (Sophie Sloan) has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a hit man for hire.
So, when Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her entire family, she procures his services.
Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job.
Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins – and accept that some monsters are real.
Sigourney Weaver, David Dastmalchian, Rebecca Henderson, and Shelia Atim also star in the movie which will mark Fuller’s feature film directorial debut.
Fuller also penned the script for the film which Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee produce. The movie debuts at the Toronto International Film Festival before arriving in cinemas on December 5th.
