Netflix has premiered the first trailer for “Sandy Wexler,” the third film in their exclusive deal with comedian Adam Sandler following “The Ridiculous 6” and “The Do-Over”.
In the film, Sandler’s Wexler is a 1990s L.A. talent manager who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business.
His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke (Jennifer Hudson), a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.
Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Aaron Neville, Arsenio Hall and more co-star in the Steven Brill-directed film.
Paul Sado, Dan Bulla and Adam Sandler wrote the script while Sandler and Allen Covert produce. ‘Wexler’ hits the streaming service on April 14th.
