Josh Cooley (“Toy Story 4”) is set to write and direct the live-action hybrid monster feature “Little Monsters” at Mandeville Films and Universal Pictures.
The project is described as a love letter to classic Hollywood and the history of filmmaking with a story that takes a multigenerational and all-ages approach to Universal’s classic monsters.
It is based on the artistic outlines and character designs of “Jurassic World” and “Kong: Skull Island” concept artist Crash McCreery who will executive produce.
Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman will produce.
