While the trailers for Marvel and Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” have given us a good glimpse of Michael Keaton’s villain The Vulture, we know that the film boasts at least three other antagonists whom will clash with Peter Parker (Tom Holland).
One is Logan Marshall-Green who plays a suitor for Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). One is The Tinkerer, played by Michael Chernus, who is essentially a one scene cameo. One big one though is Shocker, played by Bokeem Woodbine. Woodbine was photographed on-set in a basic outfit and has been only glimpsed in regular garb for the briefest of shots in the international trailer.
Now, a photo from New York Toy Fair has shown some tie-in merchandise box art which seemingly reveals Shocker’s final design which is very true to the original comic. From the trailers it’s suggested he’s a lackey of Keaton’s Adrian Toomes rather than a full-fledged partner. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” opens in cinemas on July 7th.
